Religious freedom under threat worldwide

Geneva, March 12, 2010. (Fides)  Archbishop Tomasi, Permanent Representative of the Holy See to the United Nations in Geneva at the Human Rights Council drew attention to the state of religious freedom in the world, observing that “nearly 70 percent of the world’s 6.8 billion people live in countries with high restrictions on religion, the brunt of which often falls on religious minorities”.
